Risca RFC is pleased to say that phase 1 of the flood light project is now complete. With not just the stand side flood lights complete, but thanks to some of our hard working members, the terracing on the stand side of the ground is now as good as any ground in Wales.
This now leads us onto the planning and preparation of the river side of the pitch. We are, this week launching our floodlight fund, to raise £40K to erect floodlights on the river side. This is a huge task, but one we can achieve, with some generous donations already received.
We are planning to complete this project next summer and would welcome donations however small towards the project.
An update will be given to the membership on a monthly basis as to how the fund is going. If you would like to express an interest towards helping to fund this project, please contact the Club Secretary or, Club Treasurer. (Details on Club / Committee page)
