Risca RFC is pleased to announce that Dan Bartlett has been appointed team manager of the senior squad. This follows Mark (Eddie) Edwards decision to stand down after 6 seasons. Good news is that Eddie will still be involved in the club.
Dan requires very little introduction. He has been involved in numerous roles at the club, more recently has coach and then team manager of the Youth XV.
On his appointment, Dan stated “I’m looking forward to working alongside the new coaching team, headed up by Chris (Cornford), to ensure we take full advantage of the opportunities that face us in the coming season, embracing a new vision and direction for the club. There are exciting times ahead for the club, with us building upon the squad of last year, with the addition of the Youth lads coming through along with a number of new faces. I’m confident we can secure two teams, and I am looking forward the challenges ahead. One Club!"
