Risca RFC announces that Mike Griffiths will join the coaching team for next season, as assistant forwards coach.

Mike is an experienced coach at numerous levels. 14 years ago, he started out on his coaching journey at Whiteheads Juniors, coaching and developing some of the Dragons current squad - James Benjamin, Josh Skinner and Scott Andrews. Mike then had a short spell at Rogerstone RFC before returning to Whiteheads for the past four years coaching under the leadership of Chris Cornford.

On Mike's appointment as assistant forwards coach, he states " I'm looking forward to the new challenge, working with Chris and my good friend Biddy. Risca has a great history and tradition and I look forward to supporting Chris in his goal of leading the club in a new direction.
