Match report by Mike Allen:

Risca travelled to Fleur-de-Lys  for the first round of the S.W.A.L.C. Plate Competition.
And demolished the Fleur with a eleven try victory.
the Fleur opened  the scoring with an excellent penalty from 47 mts, two minutes later Risca got their first try from a push-over from 5mts by Todd James. Converted by Owain Biddiscombe
Fleur struck straight back with their 2nd penalty another push over saw Todd James get
His second try also converted by Biddy.
Some good possession by Risca s pack saw the ball go through the hands and Anthony
Symons had two tries and Cory Nicholls one try  making the half-time score
29 points to 6 points to Risca.
After the interval Risca. pack  continued to dominate with all the eight front men doing their job, Billy John, Owain Cooper, Ryan Anderson, Jordon Hughes, Tom Crandon,
Kiaran Lewis, Joe Carlin, Todd James enabling Risca to score six more tries through Tom Crandon (2) Ben Farley (2) Callum Anderson, Curtis Ayrlin one each.
The Fleur did score two more converted tries in the last ten Minutes and did not give up all the way to the final whistle.
Risca will welcome Blaenavon at home in the League on Saturday 24th 0ctober.
