Risca Athletic this season took on the challenge of applying, and being succesful, to play in the new WRU Conference League. In fairness, the squad stepped up to the mark and put in the hard work to be competitve in this new league.
We are now midway through the season and having achieved a great result away to Bargoed yesterday, Risca Athletic are third in the table.
We are currently awaiting the fixtures for the second half of the season. Again, this will be a challenge but we are confident that the squad will again rise to the occassion.
Well done lads - doing the Cuckoos proud.
