Risca Youth signed off the season in style by winning the Caerphilly District Plate at Blackwood RFC, defeating Machen Youth 28 - 15. A marvellous end to an entertaining season.
Meanwhile , the Athletic team finished runners up in the newly formed WRU Conference by defeating Crymych 48 - 12.
Also today, Risca vets played in a tournament at Lille in France. Winning both their games and not conceding any tries. Guess there's still life in the old buzzards.
