The end of Risca R.F.C's season culminated in the annual presentation evening with guest speaker EX Wales and British Lion centre Tom Shanklin entertaining the players,sponsors and supporters with stories and anecdotes from his playing career.

A special award was made to "Doc" Cooper for his services to the club over many seasons of retrieving the balls from the Ebbw also 2nd.team coach Richard Evans gave an award to Chris Lanigan for his commitment to the team by travelling weekly from Swindon to turn out.

Owain Cooper was awarded his cap for 250 1st.team appearances and Tom Crandon was recognized

for his 100 appearances.

The main awards of the evening were as follows:

Ex 1st team captain Tim Barnes took all three of the Athletic XV.trophies.

1st.XV.Players Player and Supporters Player of year Mike Hutchings [Prop]

Clubman of the Year:Chris Lanigan.

Ryan Anderson,Mike Hutchings, Adam Price and Todd James had club badges for 50 1st.
