Here at Risca, the Mini & Junior Section run teams from Under 8’s through to 15’s. Our Mini Section play their home matches at the Fire Station Fields on Waunfawr Park Road, with the Under 12’s and Under 13’s playing at Waunfawr Park. Wherever possible, the Under 15’s play at the Stores Field.

TRAINING NIGHTS

Training takes place, with W.R.U. qualified coaches, at the Fire Station Field, on the following evenings: We also conduct SAQ training. Please contact the secretary for more detail.

If you would like to have a go at playing rugby, come along to the Fire Station Field, on the night your age group trains, where you will be able to join in the fun and see if you have got what it takes to be a Welsh star of the future.

Approaching from the South -  Exit at Junction 28 (M4) - 'Tredegar House' roundabout.  North onto the 4072, towards Bassaleg -  along 'Forge Lane' (¹/₂ mile). Take 2^nd Left onto the A467 - North bound for 2¹/₂ miles to Risca, passing the Morison Super Store roundabout,  Leave at next roundabout, 2^nd junction, and take second left heading North through town for 1 1/2 miles

Approaching from the North - A467 Exit at the Crosskeys turnoff and head south, passing Crosskeys Technical College and turn right into Black Vein Road, off Medart Place.
