Risca got on the score board after two minutes with a well struck penalty by Biddiscombe.
But top of the table team challengers Blaenavon who were always in control, struck back
With a drive over from the line-out just on seven minutes to get over the white wash for a try which was converted.
Risca hit back with two quick penalties by Biddy after some excellent work by Kiaran Lewis, Todd James and Mike Hutchings.
Blaenavon also took two penalties , but just on forty minutes Risca took their fourth penalty by Biddy to keep in touch at the interval.

Half time Risca 12 points Blaenavon 13 points.

Blaenavon struck after four minutes into the second half with  try which was converted .
Risca took the play into Blaenavons half with. Great run by Todd James and sub Billy John with  Mike Hutchings getting the touch down, Biddy missed the conversion but took a penalty with the score in the balance at 20 points each.
Risca now well in control made two silly mistakes to help put Blaenavon in for the winning try which was converted.
Another strong game by Risca,s pack which are still improving, Tom Crandon's return went well and Gareth Smith hopefully to return next week.
